Previous:  Niko Gonzalez is from Boerne, Texas and a Max Prep All-American as well as a High-school Under Armour  All-American.  Niko Gonzalez signed a letter of intent to play at Midland Junior College, where he was blessed to play for one of the father's of pitching Jim Lawler who was previously at A&M for 26 years.  After a two year junior college baseball career, Niko finished his college playing career at Incarnate Word under head coach Danny Heep former Major Leaguer who won 2 world series rings with the Mets and Dodgers.  After college Niko decided to go play in the Independent Baseball League in Mexico and El Paso, Texas.  After 1 year of playing professional baseball Niko decided to come back home and do what he loves, which is helping kids reach their goals and dreams.  

High School:  Gonzalez was a pitcher and outfielder at Boerne Champion High School.  He helped the Chargers to a 19-9 record as a senior when he hit .341 in 41 at bats.  During his junior season, he had five wins and a 1.96 ERA in 50 innings of work.  He was also 12-for-24 at the plate.
